The conscious tissue awakens intense introspection in looking at oneself in one's thoughts and feelings, with the objective of self-knowledge to be able to identify, perceive, interpret and understand one's own emotions, thoughts and behaviors.

 

Mindfulness or full attention, oriented to tissue. It has health benefits, including becoming more self-aware and in tune with your emotions, body, and environment. Mindfulness has been shown to help reduce mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.

 

Therefore, when knitting, both your mind and your body focus on completing a single activity. This approach draws you into the present, the here and now. The deep level of conscious tissue allows you to clear wandering thoughts from your mind, developing a state of inner calm. Repetitive movement in weaving is key in helping us block problematic thoughts, allowing us to shift into autopilot mode and enter an enhanced state of calm.
